Jonas Brothers

I was aksed to photograph the Jonas Brother at The Hammersmith Apollo, London for a Spanish Magazine call Bravo. I didn't know who these guys were til they asked me to cover it. I understand they are very big in the USA This is one of my favorite shots and on of the last I took. I like the fans hands stretching out to touch the singer. I was struggling to get a decent shutter speed with the light levels, over 800iso probably wouldn't be great for a magazine reproduction, so I left it at that and hoped the performers didn't move too fast visit my website

Meet Siobhan McKenna. I'm told the next new singing sensation from Ireland. Christina Aguilera type music so told. Well I've not heard her yet. This was the only shot I got on a night that promised lots. I hope she does become big, then I'll have an early shot that will be in demand in years to come. We can all dream, the picture is with Getty images now. taken with direct flash, mounted to side of camera, removed background and dodging and burning in PS to remove some harshness of the Flash.

I did a 1 day glamour photography course about a month ago with model Katie Green and photographer and lighting expect Chris Burfoot. Katie has since become the face of wonderbra, i think here she is wearing underware from primark.

Routemaster bus

This is an old routemaster bus going past St Pauls Cathedral, London. These busses were phased out, but due to public pressure some routes that go through London have had them re-introduced. This bus is quite rare because it has no advertising on the side. I processed the photo in Photoshop, creating a vignette around the bus, this resulted in quite a moody sky, which almost look un-natural.

I've just been going through some old shots, processing in CS3 (now I have a copy). It's really surprising to think how I managed to do so much without it. This image originally looked ok after some work in apple's aperture, but after some selective adjustments in CS3, the previous version just looks flat.
